It is such fun to read through these bios. I have been married to Tom Huisman (class of 1973) for 32 years. We have 3 kids (27, 23, and daughter 15... Yes we REALLY have an Ames High sophomore...). We have been back in Ames since 2000. My job of the past decade is Human Resources Director for the City of Ames. My husband Tom is a Vice President for Wells Fargo Mortgage Division in West Des Moines.
Before returning to Ames, we spent 22 years working for Phillips Petroleum in Texas, Oklahoma, Norway and Venezuela.
