Chris Lang, my wonderful husband of 31 years, and I attended the recent reunion and couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. There is nothing like childhood "growing up" friends and we enjoyed reconnecting and sharing memories with so many Ames High friends at the reunion. A big thank you to the organizing reunion crew, you outdid yourselves!

Chris and I call Des Moines our home. Although we try and exit the winter cold for a week or so in Arizona, the four seasons of our fair state continually keep us looking forward to the beauty that each season holds. We have raised two daughters, 28 and 26 years old. Katy is a lawyer here in Des Moines. She is planning a spring wedding and Chris is looking forward to having Greg add to the male numbers in the family. Jaime is a physical therapist at a hospital in Omaha. She's only a short two hours away, but she is looking to return to Des Moines to live and work within the next year. Of course we are joyous at the possibility of having both our girls back in Des Moines. Chris continues working as sales manager for Zirous, a computer consulting company in West Des Moines. Diane hung up her teaching hat last year after 35 years in the classroom and is enjoying more free time. Our pup LuLu is the center of the family! She keeps us all on our toes.

The reunion was wonderful! We hope to keep in touch with friends, as this reunion has helped us remember how precious friends and time together is in this life!
