Amazing 40 years since High School! I only spent 2 years in the Ames school district so don't know many of you but looking forward to seeing everyone. A quick update since the 30th reunion:
2005- Received a kidney transplant following long term chonic kidney condition. I also started a Masters degree in Theological studies at Covenant Seminary in St. Louis that I finally completed in 2010.
2010-My son Justin graduated from Belmont University in Nashville and spent the next two years in Korea and Thailand teaching English.
2011-Took a new position with a small Biotech Oncology Company introducing a new product to the Kentucky market for the treatment of myelofibrosis-a blood disorder.
2013-Took another new position with a small Biotech Oncology Company involving a move to St. Louis to sell a new therapy for Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. I was born in St. Louis and part of the reason for the move was to take care of my aunt. My daughter Mary Kathryn graduated from Murray State University.
2014-Justin got married to Emily just a couple of weeks ago and Heather and I celebrate our 29th anniversary a couple of weeks before the reunion. (The photo includes our family plus our new daughter in law Emily) I am starting another Masters Degree in Biblical Apologetics this fall-(Defending the Christian faith against other systems of belief as a system of belief that makes the most rational and reasonable sense out of the "big" "why" and "how" questions of life. And lastly, my wife and I are in the process of planning our retirement from the pharmaceutical sales industry that I have been in for 31 years. Blessings to all and look forward to seeing everyone.
