Hello AHS classmates!

Wow, 40 years ... well, I left Ames and went west to Laramie, Wyoming (Ames monument!?!) and the University of Wyoming, go Cowboys!

Met my future wife, Leslie, and married in May of '78. A 'short trip' back to Iowa (Panora) to live a 'simple' life for a few months and then after acquiring some much needed wisdom, returned to UW to finish a degree in ChE ... thanks Mr. Sturtevant for giving me the basics and joy for chemistry!

Our oldest son was born in '79, daughter in '82 (both in Wyoming). 'Finally' graduated and moved to Oklahoma to begin my civilian career with the USAF. Moved to Utah in '85 and have been here since. Our youngest son was born in '88. Boys now in SoCal and daughter & family in Lincoln, NE. A total of 6.2 grandchildren (expecting #7 in October) from my oldest 2 children.

Rekindled my love for riding motorcycles in 2005 ... youngest was a senior in HS and my lovely wife decided it was okay to let me back in the saddle! Been active with Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA) since that time.

God, wife, family & motorcycles (in that order) now provide the majority of my time when I'm not working on USAF landing gear engineering issues.

Planning / Looking forward to finally getting to a reunion ... the last time I was in Ames was in '03 to move my mother out to Utah.
